The Belmont Fire Department is one of the most progressive, innovative and dynamic fire departments in the nation. This is demonstrated by our goal to always be nice and treat others with respect, kindness, patience, and consideration. The Department takes pride in its ability to serve the needs of our community. Each day, our citizens call upon our firefighters to respond to a variety of emergencies including structure fires, emergency medical responses, swift water, hazardous materials and technical rescue situations. Fire prevention and education also play a major role in our service to the Community.
